Why we like it: By now it’s obvious that Kerry Washington is one of our favorite modern beauty icons and we may risk being repetitive but we couldn’t help but feature this beautiful frosted look. It’s pastel without being childish or cheesy and we love her airbrush-finished skin.
How to get it at home: Start with a flawless-finish foundation, such as Becca’s Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme (£44), which is a full-coverage formula but can be easily blended out to a thin layer. Blush is very important when using a high coverage foundation so add some depth and life back into the skin with Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in True Love ($26).
Shape and define your brows using Too Faced’s Bulletproof Brows ($30) which is a clay formula that applies easily but sets completely. Get Kerry’s pretty pastel eye with Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Cream in 18 Purple ($23) and blend it well with a fluffy eyeshadow brush to soften any harsh edges. If you’re wearing this look for evening, a dark liner can add drama, otherwise simply apply your favorite mascara and a coat of Clinique’s Bottom Lash Mascara ($10) to get Kerry’s doll-like lashes. Finish off your look with a soft pink lipstick, such as Bite Beauty’s Cashmere Lip Cream in Napa ($28).
