Though her own label dreams may not have materialized just yet, she’s teamed up with AG Jeans and is on the cusp of launching Alexa Chung for AG. We’ve been treated to a few teasers on Instagram of the collection which will feature 20 items from classic jeans to dungarees. Alexa is reportedly drawing inspiration from the 60s and 70s with the aim of designing the missing pieces for her own dream wardrobe.
According to WWD, Alexa is taking her new role very seriously, so much so, in fact, that she’s visited the AG Jeans factory for a better insight into its processes and capabilities. She’s even embarked on design inspiration trips with the brand’s creative director.
From modeling to being crowned an influential style icon, Alexa definitely knows a thing or two about fashion, so we know that we’re in store for a real treat when her collection launches.
