For all you girls who have waxed poetic about raiding Victoria Beckham‘s closet, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is! The designer and style crush of just about everyone has announced that she’s putting her wardrobe up for auction, in partnership with The Outnet. Beckham has teamed with the discount luxury e-tailer, donating over 600 items from her enviable closet so that slender fashionistas with deep pockets and a high line of credit can bid on some pieces to benefit mothers2mothers, a charity that helps mothers with HIV.
There are pieces dating back all the way to her Spice Girls days as well as more recent items that you might remember if you’re a die-hard fan. Up on the block is a checkered Roland Mouret dress Beckham was photographed wearing in 2012, uplifted with oxblood accents like a cropped sweater, belt and oversized croc pouch. Also on tap is a gray, strong-shoulder, striped illusion dress by Alexander McQueen that she sported back in 2006. These might be throwback items for Beckham, but the fact that they’re still completely wearable today is a testament to her timeless style.
In addition to the items already up for grabs,The Outnet and Beckham have handpicked 10 pieces for a high-stakes Going, Going, Gone sale. The exclusive pieces have been priced by Christie’s and according to The Outnet, will be up for grabs in a sort of “reverse auction.”
So, if you’ve got the coins and the bod to squeeze into one of Beckham’s frocks, you can register to shop the private sale which will run live from August 20 to August 25.
