Today, Essie announced that fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff has been named the brand’s new Global Color Designer. After serving as the nail brand of choice for Minkoff’s Fashion Week shows since 2012, it’s a natural partnership. Each season, Rebecca and the Essie team work together to create a look that is reflective of her personality and complementary to her collections.
Rebecca has already collaborated on her first of many seasonal collections with Essie. She worked together with the brand to create the colorful Spring 2015 Flowerista collection which will be available next month. In a statement, Rebecca expresses her excitement for this new endeavor saying, “I have always had a lifelong passion for vibrant nail color and nail art – they are the perfect accessory and offer every woman another unique way to express herself. I am thrilled to take my relationship with Essie one step further and look forward to a successful and colorful journey!”
