Sydney-raised model, photographer and 4th and Bleeker blogger, Alexandra Spencer, has teamed up with California-based sock enthusiasts Stance to put together a collection full of them south-of-the-border feels.
According to Alexandra’s blog, she and the Stance team first chatted about a potential collaboration over a mai tai in Hawaii. She told them, “I’d like to make a collection of socks about things you might find in a gas station, south of the border,” and, without hesitation, they quickly got collaborating.

The result is a small collection comprising of three designs, which Stance’s website describes as a “hot-as-hell wardrobe upgrade perfect for hitching a ride to who knows where”. Think a navy-and-white bandanna print, yellow-scorpion motifs against a baby-pink background, and a grey snakeskin style with contrasting-black heel and toe detailing.
Stance also put together a video campaign to support the collection, shot by Alexandra’s brother, Byron Spencer, and styled by her best buddy, Ashley Roberts, at California’s Madonna Inn. Watch it for yourself below, but unfortunately Alexandra’s fellow Aussies can’t buy her collaboration. Please, Stance, won’t you put us out of our misery and start shipping to the land down under? We’re so very far south of your borders.
