The iconic London College of Fashion has just opened its doors to the Warpaint: Alexander McQueen and Make-Up exhibition at its Fashion Space Gallery, which aims to explore the inspirations and methods behind some of the late designer‘s most iconic beauty looks from his runway shows. It’s an absolute must-visit for any fashion or beauty fan.
The exhibition explores 22 of McQueen’s different beauty looks categorized under themes, such as Amplified, which features models with distorted facial features. Visitors have the opportunity to digitally try on three makeup looks from his shows, thanks to a collaboration with the London digital creative studio Holition and its new Face technology.
You can’t deny that you’re just a little bit curious about what you’d look like covered in McQueen’s iconic butterfly wings design from his Spring 2008 La Dame Bleue collection. You’ll be sure to leave with a pic that’s Facebook profile worthy!
The exhibition is now open and running until 7 August at the Fashion Space Gallery.
