Oh, hey! It’s Episode 10 and I’ve invited my good friend and bachelor buddy Holly Pearce to help me with tonights low-down. It’s been fun watching this season and reminiscing on some fond bachelor memories.
Holly and I actually shared a room with four other ladies, and, the truth is, we all slept in bunk beds. It was like school camp except in your 20s.
So, if you have been reading my recaps you would know Snezana and Heather are certainly my two front runners to win Sam’s heart, but last night threw a spanner in the works when Lana and Rachel crashed the mansion.
It was interesting watching the “originals” question the “new girls”. Like, I’m sure they want to get to know these ladies just as much as Sam, but they shouldn’t make them feel guilty or not worthy of finding love with The Bachelor.
I remember thinking it would be so tough to be an intruder. I definitely wouldn’t of wanted to be in that position. Girls are bitchy enough, let alone when you are all competing for the same man.

The truth is, it really shouldn’t matter how long the ladies have been in the house, because love will lead the right couple together if it is meant to be.
Sam wastes no time getting to know the newbie, picking them and Nina, Snez and Ebru to join him on a romantic date in the dark. If you missed this, please go watch. Holly and I couldn’t hold back our laughter.

There was food and wine going everywhere and a few too many greasys coming from Nina and Ebru, but that didn’t stop Lana from creeping a little bit closer to Sam.

Let’s remember no one could actually see a thing in the dark. And just to stir the ladies up that little bit more, Sam chose Lana for a little extra one-on-one. Just as I thought, they completely hit it off.

Single date time and Heather is chosen for sweetness and memories. First she is picked up in an ice-cream truck and then taken to a picturesque setting full of sweets. Is it just me, or are the dates far less extravagant than last year?

Don’t get me wrong. I love sweets. But I feel like each girl is just getting taken to a different picnic setting. Maybe it’s a good thing, as it seems like Sam doesn’t want to give these ladies false expectations.

Heather is lovely, and I’m sure she has a lot of fans out there, but I cant help but feel like she knows exactly how to butter Sam up the right way.

Her chat comes across as completely fake, and to me she looks like she is a really good actress. Perhaps this could be her launching pad to a career on Home and Away?

Cocktail party time! Let’s just say, if this was a fashion stand-off between the original and the intruders, Lana and Rachael would win this round. How stunning did they both look tonight?
Stunning enough to catch Sam’s attention and stay for another week, at least, because tonight sees us say goodbye to Ebru.

I wonder is the producers are convincing Sam to send someone home that he doesn’t’ want to say goodbye to? I hope not. Stay true to yourself, Sam.
