ASOS’ customer queries Twitter account quickly responded to the criticism, removing the listing and apologising for “any offence caused”. The online retailer Tweeted, “This was created by an independent seller on ASOS Marketplace and we took it down as soon as we saw it – sorry for any offence!” one Tweet read.

The Seller has also apologised, admitting that it “was really extremely stupid of us” and that they intended for the shirt to be about “being a slave to the label”.
