Kendall Jenner Nails Elvis Impersonation in Fendi’s Fall 2016 Ad Campaign

In one photo, the 20-year-old model channels a young Elvis Presley. Her recently cropped tresses are styled in a tight, boyish bouffant, her smoky eye makeup at once conceals and accentuates her full, coquettish lashes. Her orange and purple-striped button-down shirt and brown slacks contribute to the ad’s offbeat, 60s-era androgynous vibe.

In a second shot, the supermodel rocks Lagerfeld’s favored material du jour — fur — in the form of a baby blue, black, white and red scarf, along with a silky orange blouse and purple slacks. In her navy-manicured hand she holds a leather maroon handbag with ruffle-accented sides and baby blue studded strap. Here, she looks less King of rock ‘n’ roll, more #GirlBoss.

Will the campaign’s accompanying video spots keep to the Elvis reference and showcase Kendall Jenner’s oft-documented gyrating skills? One can only hope.
