We all love Net-a-Porter for its on-point curation of well-known designer brands like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Acne Studios and literally hundreds of others. But its influential platform also makes the site responsible for catapulting emerging designers into the spotlight. Curious to find out about the next It brands, we turned to Lisa Aiken, the site’s retail fashion director, and asked her to single out seven designers that we should all have our eyes on this year — some being so up-and-coming that they haven’t even made it onto the Net-a-Porter website yet.

Oscar Tiye
"Already a street style favorite, Oscar Tiye designer Amina Muaddi knows how to take a classic shoe and give it a sexy yet cool edge," says Net-a-Porter's Retail Fashion Director Lisa Aiken.

Attico
"Attico, by vintage-loving designers Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, is not so under the radar as their RTW collection has quickly risen to the top. However, they just created their first footwear collection focused on various mule styles with interchangeable ankle cuffs...the ultimate shoe accessory."

A.W.A.K.E.
"A.W.A.K.E. is fast becoming a go-to brand for the fashion pack looking for statement-making silhouettes and unexpected details. Deconstructed shirting, full midi skirts and graphic plaid ensembles are amongst the key pieces."
-
Georgia Alice
"We adore Georgia Alice and her cool, stripped-down approach to design. Her easy-to-wear designs are perfect for layering and sure to become staples in every woman’s wardrobe."
-
BOYY
"We are really excited about BOYY’s signature oversized buckle style, which we first spotted amongst fashion insiders last season and is set to become the next cult hit. It is one part cool girl, one part ladylike tote; the perfect balance."
-
Y/Project
"In a season where streetwear is everywhere, Glenn Martens' brand Y/Project is the new kid on the block. From the exaggerated sleeves to the reworked denim, the collection is set to be a favorite amongst Vetements and Off-White fans."

Rejina Pyo
"Rejina Pyo is set to be one of the stars of the future. We've seen such a great reaction from customers to her collection. We love the modern aesthetic, which is certainly influenced by her days working in Roksanda's studio."
