Gigi Hadid recreated Anna Wintour’s very first cover of American Vogue back in 2014 and now she’s giving us major Christy Turlington and Yasmeen Ghauri Vogue cover vibes on her first cover for 2018. Making a stunning return to Vogue Germany on the newly unveiled January issue, Gigi looks every inch the supermodel. Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, she models an embellished Versace catsuit (from Donatella’s ‘Gianni Tribute’ collection for Spring 2018) adorned with vintage Vogue covers while paying homage to both Gianni and the 90s supermodels.

The majority of our forum members had nothing but praise for Gigi’s latest. “I like it, and really excited to see Versace dominate covers in 2018,” said MDNA immediately, showing the cover some love.

Although not everyone was here for the outcome. “The Versace is selling it. Gigi may as well be a living blow-up doll because she isn’t giving anything! The clothes shouldn’t outshine the subject, but they did in this instance,” voiced GivenchyHomme.
