We love to see Karlie Kloss on the cover of our favorite fashion glossies. The all-American model has a total of 38 Vogue covers in her portfolio and she now scores her 39th with the April 2018 issue of Vogue Thailand. The last time the magazine took our fancy was with a perfect Emily DiDonato offering but its latest cover has received attention for all the wrong reasons. Following a disappointing cover for Porter’s summer issue, Karlie’s newest Vogue cover, shot by Russell James, received some backlash in our forums.
Our forum members weren’t afraid to call out the magazine and everyone involved. “Trying to be a sultry sex bomb, not working,” stated Nymphaea the moment the cover struck.
“Nothing works here, and the hair is the worst,” KateTheGreatest added.
“The hair doesn’t suit her. And the neck scarf can definitely go as well. I think the shot would’ve been better outdoors,” voiced Benn98.

“The styling is not doing her any favors,” agreed Zposen.
Miss Dalloway couldn’t have agreed more, writing, “What is this styling? Why is the bag so obvious, yet cut half out of the cover? Makes no sense, such a bad cover! And I so agree that I am over her hair like this, it does nothing for her!”
Mistess_f said, “The hair, makeup, pose, styling – everything is terrible here! What’s happening?”
“Karlie has had a brilliant HF career, but it’s been a minute since Kloss felt like a proper model. She’s slowly morphing into TV spokesperson territory,” posted zoom.
In the same frame of mind was TeeVanity, adding, “Karlie has lost her charm for me, not moved or excited by anything relating to her and this cover is the same.”
