Back in the 60s, wearing gloves was a fashion statement and added a touch of elegance to any outfit. This fashion accessory need not be stuck in old times. Slipping on gloves and mittens can be just as fashionable today as it was before.

Gloves and mittens serve a purpose: to keep our hands warm. Choose materials that are soft on skin for you to wear comfortably throughout the day. Make sure that the fit isn’t too tight or too loose. Like the saying goes, it must fit like a glove. If you’re choosing gloves in plain colors, go with a pair that has some texture or embellishment. Avoid wearing gloves in the same shade as your winter outfit. Instead, complement your wardrobe with the color of your gloves. Fingerless gloves are great if you’re on the phone all the time and need your digits, but there are also gloves that are compatible with your touch-screen mobiles. Have rings or watches? Wear them underneath your gloves, not over them. Remember to remove your gloves when eating as proper etiquette.
