With Instagram test-driving a checkout function that lets you buy directly with just a click, shopping is about to get a whole lot easier. Which is good news for lesser-known brands that rely on the social media platform along with its roster of influencers to market their wares. While these up-and-coming brands still have websites for consumers to shop, they rely on Instagram to get the word out.
From a brand built around a single, but totally cool, midi skirt that took Instagram by storm to ones that have already amassed a decent celeb following (Bella Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lady Gaga, etc.), these hidden gems are poised to break out in 2019. And whether your vice is street style-worthy dresses, statement jewelry , artsy bags or 90s-era footwear, there’s something to add to your feed ASAP.

Instagram Famous Fashion Brands
By Far
This brand may single-handedly be responsible for bringing back 90s-era short-strap bags . Last year, By Far released a baguette bag inspired by Rachel Green from Friends and celebs immediately embraced the silhouette (see: Bella Hadid). The brand founded by Valentina Bezuhanova, Sabina Gyosheva and Denitsa Bumbarova actually started out just focusing on footwear, offering up square-toe sandals, slip-on mules and croc-embossed boots.

Réalisation Par
Who would’ve believed that a midi skirt could launch a brand? Réalisation Par ’s followers ticked up last year thanks to the must-have animal print skirt of the season . It probably also helped that fans like Kaia Gerber took selfies rocking the brand’s wares. Founded by Alexandra Spencer and Teale Talbot, the label prefers producing "individual pieces rather than collections." We expect this brand to rival trendy hubs like The Frankie Shop and I.AM.GIA for street style-certified clothes.

Rotate by Birger Christensen
Rotate by Birger Christensen is a new brand gaining traction on Instagram because its founders, Thora Valdimars and Jeanette Friis Madsen , are Instagram stars in their own right. Pretty meta, no? The dynamic duo teamed with concept shop Birger Christensen to deliver trendy pieces you’ll wear for the long haul. Its trademark puffy-sleeve dresses are already street style bait. But we’re partial to its statement blazers.

16Arlington
Out to prove that minimalism and maximalism are not mutually exclusive, 16Arlington has something for everyone. The brainchild of Marco Capaldo and Kikka Cavenati, the London-based brand has already been spotted on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lady Gaga . We’re betting you’ll soon see the brand’s tie-detail tops all over Instagram.

Stine Goya
Another Copenhagen-based brand, Stine Goya is all about color. The designer’s boldly patterned dresses and pants are classic Insta fodder. Expect to see its sandals and loafers popping up in your feed.

Valet Studio
If you’re big on barrettes (and who isn’t nowadays?), keep tuning into Valet Studio ’s feed. The Australian brand has inspired countless influencers to overload on hair clips. And why not? Its pieces range from glittery to cheeky and even subdued. Oh, and it also offers selfie-perfect statement earrings.

Saks Potts
You may not recognize the name, but you’ve definitely seen its colorful fur-trimmed coats and logo-clad pieces. The Copenhagen-based brand was launched in 2014 by Cathrine Saks and Barbara Potts, hence the name. While Saks Potts does participate in fashion week, its notoriety with celebs and the street style set can be traced to its strong Instagram presence. So adding Saks Potts to your feed is a no-brainer.

Fruity Booty
Just launched in 2017, Fruity Booty is out to be the cool girl’s Victoria's Secret. Hattie Tennant and Minna Bunting created the intimates label to supply special pieces you’ll want to flaunt. It offers sexy little things featuring lace and sheer silhouettes, but we’re really digging its fruit-themed nightwear.

Veja
In an era of OTT grandpa sneakers, ecological sneaker brand Veja is quietly taking over Instagram. Its classic kicks boasting that iconic V are the perfect way to finish off any look, from a tee and jeans to a sparkly dress. Pick up a few pairs since they’re all pretty reasonably priced and promise to outlast the chunky sneaker trend. (Think of them like eco-conscious Stan Smiths.)

Sleeper
While Sleeper does make super comfy PJs with a little edge, the burgeoning brand also offers slip dresses with serious 90s feels. Launched in 2014, it’s almost as if former editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa sensed the pajamas as daywear trend. Emily Ratajkowski, Leandra Medine and Pandora Sykes are just some of the influencers digging the Instagram-famous brand.

Rouje Paris
Jeanne Damas is the street stylist behind Rouje Paris so you’re probably expecting pieces perfect for those looking to project that French girl insouciance. Well, you’re right. From tailored dresses to vintage-style button-fly jeans, the brand has your relaxed weekend wear covered.

Aeydē
A digital, direct-to-consumer brand, Luisa Krogmann and Constantin Langholz-Baikousis design super structured footwear and jewelry. Add this shop to your feed to keep track of all the must-have hoops, sleek ankle boots and streamlined sandals. And you can stock up since the prices are reasonable.

Galleria Armadoro
Like to stack your earrings? Galleria Armadoro should be your new Instagram destination. Just like layering necklaces became an Insta influencer art, this Greek jewelry brand is betting covering your ears will be the next trend. It also has necklaces, anklets, rings and bracelets in case you want to keep stacking.

Danse Lente
Danse Lente is the source for colorful bags in literally all shapes and sizes. Proving popular on Insta, the brand’s geometric Phoebe bag is really eye-catching. More of its structured bags are bound to pop up on the streets and via Instagram so stock up now.

Rosemilk
Rosemilk reminds us of our 90s high school wardrobe — and that’s a good thing. New Yorkers Lisa Caprio and Marcelo Gaia created the label with a sense of nostalgia and can already count Bella Hadid as a fan. Since the 90s are everywhere right now, expect the brand to flourish on the 'gram.

Simonett
This ready-to-wear and accessories label from Simonett Pereira is what it would look like if Zara, Mango and COS collaborated on a collection. We’re talking well-tailored shorts suits, puff sleeves galore and street style-worthy jumpsuits. Expect to catch its Cotedian Jacket with scarf print panel on a handful of influencers.
