Chocolate cake is basically a spiced up version of cold brew (yes, we’re still talking about hair). You can play up the balayage to control how light the color gets or add some contrasting highlights to complement all that chocolate richness.
Ideal chocolate cake hair typically features two cool browns: a darker, settled shade and a brighter, coffee/caramel-colored highlight, which you can mix with a chestnut balayage or some sandy blond accents.
