Italia is a shell of its former self. Largely because Emanuele Farneti keeps relying on gimmicks. Following The Animal Issue, we now endure The Everyday Issue for February 2021 photographed and styled by Carlos Nazario. Vogue Italia intern Lavinia De Alessandri wears Giorgio Armani for cover one (below). Giorgio Armani’s junior accountant Meron Kidane also sports Armani on the second cover (after the jump).
Our forum members aren’t fans. “WHY is he doing THIS?” asks a dumbfounded arabchic.
“I hate this man with passion,” adds Srdjan.
“Not even surprised at this point…just mortified. Franca, we’re so, SO sorry,” Armani points out.

Benn98 clearly agrees: “Farneti is so out of touch to imagine that the Vogue Italia reader would be interested in seeing an intern photographed by a stylist for the cover.”
“At this point just waiting for the DAY he says goodbye,” justaguy chimed in.
“I’m not disappointed anymore because I’ve accepted the fact that this garbage is what we call Vogue Italia now,” stated HFBvrg.
“Everything that could be said has been said…” voiced annikad.
