Anya Taylor-Joy served a major high-fashion moment at Dior’s Ready-to-Wear Spring-Summer 2025 show at Musée Rodin in a cream-toned sheer crochet ensemble. It featured a sleeveless crochet tank top and a delicately woven matching crochet see-through maxi skirt. The Queen’s Gambit actor paired the Dior number with black combat boots.
As for accessories, she kept it minimal with a vintage-looking silver watch and a ring. She wore her straight blonde hair loose with her signature center part. The actor kept her makeup matte with a defined eye, subtly blushy cheeks, and a nude lip.
Anya Taylor-Joy’s outfit for the occasion is from the brand’s Scottish-inspired Cruise 2025 collection. It was held in the magnificent gardens of the 15th-century Drummond Castle of Scotland. Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri derived inspiration from Mary Queen of Scots for this particular collection.
During the preview, Chiuri talked to WWD about the inspiration. The designer explained, “Mary Stuart’s wardrobe mixed very fragile lace with velvet, and there was a dialogue between very different materials.” Maria Grazia Chiuri added, “In the show we mixed together sportswear with fragile materials.” The designer continued, “Corsets act like accessories, while cotton and wool fabrics come with embroideries.”
