Charlize Theron
Headbands were all over the red carpet last night but it was Charlize Theron who wore it best. Her texturized up-do paired perfectly with her natural, matte makeup and her look was polished and effortless. -
Evan Rachel Wood
Mauve lips were a notable trend on the red carpet last night with celebrities like Sofia Vergara and Viola David in the shade, but it was Evan Rachel Wood’s creamy soft mauve that stole the show. -
Angelina Jolie
While this look is neither outrageous nor outlandish, it’s a dramatic and exciting departure from Jolie’s signature look. The bold red lip paired with a smoked out version of her signature kitten flick worked perfectly with her slick bun and two-tone dress. -
Rooney Mara
Soft smoky eyes were another big trend of the night. The usual hard lines and bold colors made way for well-blended smoky eyes such as this one on Mara. Paired with a soft matte lip and bold filled-in brows, this look was a welcome break from the nude tones of the night. -
Emma Stone
There were very few bold, standout looks last night but Emma Stone’s metallic eyes and soft pink lips were perfect. Paired with the rich tones of her dress, the petal pink lips managed to tone down the eyes enough to keep them from looking too harsh. -
Diane Lane
Women with older skin must be very careful when wearing a lot of makeup; which is why Diane Lane’s look cannot go unnoticed. The quality of her skin is sensational and her sun-kissed glow and loose curls were not only event appropriate but also age appropriate. -
Nicole Richie
Richie’s sixties Bardot makeup look was a bit heavy handed but it was her futuristic ponytail that had us all atwitter. Ponytails were all over the red carpet but Richie's takes the cake. By hiding the elastic under segments of hair, the look stood out amongst the rest. -
Naya Rivera
The success of the Glee actress’ look is based on pairing the shades of her makeup with her skin tone. An otherwise unremarkable look, the color of her lipstick was a bold and very flattering choice. -
Piper Perabo
With just a touch of black liner on the upper lash line and a shimmery pink shadow, Perabo was the poster girl for minimalist makeup last night. -
Julianne Moore
Hollywood’s favorite redhead’s base is most remarkable here as it’s clear there’s very little coverage, which is a refreshing choice amongst a number of caked on faces.
