Where: ELLE’s 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration
Why we like it: As the weather gets cooler, it’s easy to slip into a routine of using dark, autumnal colors. Here, Emma reminds us that just because the weather’s changing, doesn’t mean we can’t add a pop of color into our beauty looks.
How to get it at home: Resist the urge to apply loads of foundation now that the weather is cooler and opt for a sheer base, such as BECCA’s Luminous Skin Color Ultra Sheer Foundation SPF 25+, $42, which will even your skin tone and give your skin a radiant moisturized finish. Get Emma’s glowing flushed cheek by applying a light dusting of Sunday Riley’s Blush in Honest, $30, to the apples of your cheeks.
What makes this look a standout is Emma’s shimmering green eye. To get this look, try Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick Eye Color in Jungle, $24. Blend the color all over the lid and into the crease with a clean blending brush and use a smuding brush to run some of the color down under the lower lash line. Line close to your lash line and into a slight flick with NARS Eyeliner Stylo in Carpates, $27. If you’re having a hard time getting a thin line along the lash line, try holding the eyelier parallel to your lash line rather than perpendicular and drag it towards the outer corner. Finish off your eyes with a good coat of Buxom’s Sculpted Lash Mascara, $19.
It can be hard to balance a statement eye but Emma’s pink sheer lip color is a great pairing with this olive green eye. Try Dior’s Dior Addict Lipstick in Model 564, $30, to get the look at home.
