Want to stand out in a crowd? Stock up on blue hued eye makeup products. They made an appearance in a big way on the Fall 2012 catwalks. In particular, big gorgeous lashes coated with bright blue mascara. You've seen it at the costume store or perhaps the drugstore, now is the time to try it. Intensify the effect with bright blue shadow lining your eyes. Lashes like this don't need extra color on your lids, so really, in the long run it's an economical decision.

No longer does red eye have to exclusively describe the sleep hangover you have from a bicoastal trip. Sure it's a little goth, a little dark even, but now is the time to experiment with something that calls to mind so many vampire love stories and secret trysts that occupy the 2010s best seller lists. Red eyeshadow can be hard to find. Use your brightest lipstick instead, applying with your fingertips until you get the right thickness and opacity.
