Where: The opening of the Tracy Anderson flagship studio
Why we like it: While she may not be your everyday beauty icon, Stacy is wearing the perfect spring day-to-night look here. The soft red lip is bright but not harsh and her skin looks natural and fresh.
How to get it at home: One of the biggest red carpet makeup secrets that isn’t actually a secret is that less foundation is always more. Skin has a natural radiance to it and the more you cover it up, the worse it will look. Now, we all haven’t been blessed with perfect skin, but neither have most of the celebrities you see. After moisturising or priming your skin (or both if you want), take a creamy concealer, such as Tarte’s Maracuja Creaseless concealer, $24, and cover any imperfections of discoloration that you can. We love to use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to fully blend concealer to give it an airbrushed look. Then, and only then, if you need it, add a small amount of foundation down the center of your face. You’ll notice you look fresher and more natural but not completely exposed.
To get Stacy’s look, try filling in your brows with a powder, such as LORAC’s Take A Brow, $22. Define your eyes using a versatile liner, such as BECCA’s Ultimate Creme Eyeliner, $20, which doubles as an eyeshadow if you want a smokier look. Finish off your eyes with mascara or, if you really want to duplicate the look, false lashes. Because you’ve not loaded your face with foundation, your skin’s natural flush should show through so be careful with adding any extra blush. Finish this look with a deep coral or tomato toned lipstick, such as Dolce & Gabanna’s The Lipstick Classic Cream Lipstick in Venere 236, $32.
