Why we like it: This is a great look for a party or holiday dinner, but too often looks like this get ruined by wet snow and inclement weather. While it may be difficult to completely weatherproof your look, we think you can get it to stay as long as possible with a few tricks.
How to get it at home: Start with a flawless finish foundation, such as Guerlain’s Tenue de Perfection Timeproof Foundation SPF20 ($59), and blend it well into the skin from the center outwards. If you apply less foundation around the hairline, it will be less obvious if the color shifts slightly. Next, add a bit of color into your cheeks with Buxom’s True Hue Blush in Intoxicate ($24).
Get Amy’s full and defined brows with Too Faced’s Bulletproof Brows ($30), which is waterproof and sweatproof, meaning no running brows if you’re caught in the rain or snow. Glitter can be difficult to wear, but its longevity is dependant on how it’s applied. We like Make Up For Ever’s Glitters in Sand 11 ($15) and when applied with a wet brush, you can get incredible depth and longevity. Top off your eyes with a dark mascara, such as Clinique’s High Impact Waterproof Mascara ($16), and finish your look with a coat of Becca Cosmetics’ Ultimate Color Gloss in Pink Lotus ($24).
