It’s finally here! Paris Fashion Week is where the heavy-hitters come out to play and we were certainly not disappointed by the first day’s showing. At first glance, this look from Anthony Vaccarello looks like your average crazy runway beauty look, but it’s the method that kept our interest long after the last model left. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux is not only known for his beautiful finished looks, but also the masterful process that gets him there and with this look the key wasn’t something you’d normally find in a makeup kit. Turns out dental floss was the standout tool for Pecheux who ran the waxed thread through eyeliner and lipstick to get the black and red tracks respectively. The resulting look was a futuristic, worn-looking line that was more artistic than almost any look we’ve seen this season. Welcome to Paris!
