Who: Laura Prepon
Where: 2014 Critics’ Choice Television Awards
Why we like it: Summer smoky eyes can be tricky as it’s important to keep your look light and fresh during the summer months. We love this look because of its use of coral in both the cheek and eye to bring warmth to an otherwise simple look.
How to get it at home: Start with a light base that will even tone without a heavy layer, such as Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup ($37). Get Laura’s defined brow using Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Volumizing Brow Powder ($25), which will give a softer finish than a pencil or gel. Add oomph to this look by adding some warmth back into the face using a coral blush, such as BECCA’s Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Guava/Moonstone ($27), and apply a small amount to your socket line as it will add a touch of warmth to the smoky eye. Using the black as liner and mushroomy tone for shading, define and shade your eye using Bobbi Brown’s Soho Chic Eye Palette ($48). Finish off your eyes with Dior’s Addict It-Lash Mascara in It-Black ($26) and top off your look with Buxom’s Full-Bodied Lip Gloss in Hello Lover ($19).
