The product is meant to be used in two steps. First, use the spherical tip of the wand to brush the gel onto brows in a backwards motion (against the direction of growth) to coat the underside of the brow. Then, smooth out the brow by brushing the gel forwards in light, upward strokes to coat the brow from beginning to end.
