Over the past few days, we’ve been seeing a familiar casual hairstyle that screams warm temperatures and bare legs: beach waves. The tousled and textured style, however, has been making an appearance at certain evening affairs — and we love it. The messy style was seen at the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet on Amber Heard, who went for a high-glam look, parting her waves with a deep side part and complementing them with a scarlet lipstick.

Lake Bell also opted for the deep side part when it came to her windblown waves, but kept the rest of her look casual with minimal makeup and a chic ear cuff. And then there was bronzed goddess Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who stunned with her sun-kissed glow and rumpled lob for a sexier take on the style in the most appropriate of locations: Los Angeles. Looks like it’s time to grab Bumble and bumble’s new Surf Infusion and get ready for some beachside hair — day or night.
