Brow Trends Fall 2018
-
Shaven
Shave your eyebrows, transform your face into a canvas for loud, experimental makeup — like the now-trending glitter eye.

Ombré
You did it to your head hair, now do it to your facial hair. Create a (keyword) subtle gradient by using a pencil or powder in a slightly off (but not clash-y) color to fill in the start of your brows. If you're a brunette, go auburn. If you're blonde, try a light gingery-orange. This'll add dimension to your brows and look intentionally edgy (as opposed to Instagram-makeup-y).

Uni
Gucci's recent Fall 2018 show celebrated the beauty-standard-defying beauty of the unibrow. To recreate the look, skip your next few threading appointments, then emphasize your mid-hairs with some light strokes of darkening powder.

Brushed Up
OK, this one's not so revolutionary, but it is fun and low-commitment. Add a little zing to already your already-bold brows by brushing them up with clear gel so they look fierce and feral. Might we recommend Glossier's best-selling Boy Brow in Clear?

Bleached
Channel Kate Moss in Steven Meisel’s 1992 “Grunge & Glory” shoot — bleach 'em. It's a fun, gaze-emphasizing look you can easily come back from.

Extended
Open and lift your eyes with a lowlight. It's a heavy look, yes, but it manages to flow. The key is to use a powder that's slightly lighter than your natural brows, and not go past their actual starting point. Once you've filled in your inner brows, lightly shade in the curve around the bridge of your nose. Finish off with a pop of white at the inner corners of your eyes.

A Sharp Curve
Nod at Jean Harlow without sacrificing your grow-out. Trace a sharp downward curve over your natural brows, play up the 30s vibes with deliberately clumpy mascara.

Painted Yellow
Just as ROYGBIV eyes are trending, so too are high-impact brows. At the moment, colorful brow-dedicated pencils are few and far between, so you'll have to improvise using the aforementioned eyeliners and mascaras (or even a touch of face paint). Afterward, be sure to give your brows some much-needed TLC by way of a castor oil massage.

Whitewashed
A brow look for all those Diddy-inspired white parties you'll be attending this spring/summer.

Frosted
Same concept, but with glitter (which makes it better, obviously).
