Is CoverGirl on a roll or what? Mere weeks after becoming the biggest brand to go cruelty-free, CoverGirl is launching the new Full Spectrum Collection, a line of products designed specifically for women of color.
The Full Spectrum Collection certainly lives up to its name, with a wide range and variety of products made to cater to medium to deep skin tones. It’s got everything from base products like primers, concealers and foundations to bold matte lipsticks and rainbow-hued eyeshadow palettes. And with prices ranging from $6.92 to $13.49, it’s quite the budget-friendly lineup as well.
Early standouts include the Matte Ambition All Day Shine Free Foundation, $11.99, which boasts a lightweight texture and soft matte finish and comes in 20 shades and the So Saturated 8 Shade Shadow Palette, $13.49 (we’ve got our eye on the ultra-colorful Zodiac palette). We’re also quite excited for the Matte Ambition Skin Primer, $11.49, especially since it comes with SPF 20.
We could chalk all this exciting new inclusivity up to the Fenty Effect (thanks, Ri-Ri), but it’s also worth pointing out that the brand has had a WOC-specific line (CoverGirl Queen) for over a decade now. This new collection also joins an existing 40-shade foundation line that launched earlier this year.
The Full Spectrum Collection is available now at Ulta.com and will begin its mass market and drugstore roll out in February 2019.
