The classic pixie will never stop being edgy and cool, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room for change. There’s a new iteration of the pixie and it’s all about living in the moment.
Adding movement to a pixie cut is the easiest thing to do to set yourself apart from the rest of the cropped-hair crowd. Pixies are very easily manipulated; you can always moderate how choppy or
layered you want your crop to be, especially once it starts to grow back.
“Use a
moisturizing oil to add some shine, then comb your hair in the direction you want it to go and let it dry naturally without touching it. Don’t overthink it,” celebrity hairstylist Marcus Francis tells
Teen Vogue .

Pixie Perfect
If you have fine hair, don't go for an incredibly piecey cut; spiky pixies are easier to manage and require minimal vigilance, so you can focus on the health of your hair. Something this manageable can be kept in place with some hair spritzer.
