Fashion Month Spring 2022 Hair
-
Supriya Lele
Hairstylist Cyndia Harvey’s goal was to give models a "look with a lot of attitude but that still felt nonchalant and relatable." She kept hair tight to the head and styled it so it looked like the models had gotten caught in the rain.
-
Richard Quinn
The hair and makeup theme was "alien angels." Hairstylist Sam McKnight created this otherworldly look by separating hair into three sections and slicking it all down with gel. The bleached brows and monotone face completed the alien vibe.
-
Helen Anthony
Models looked effortlessly cool and chic in their tailored suits and undone hair. Hairstylist Brady Lea was behind the messy, bedhead style that will work just as well IRL as it did on the runway.
-
Nensi Dojaka
The piecey top knots came courtesy of hairstylist Syd Hayes. The spiky toppers were paired with minimal makeup and sexy, formfitting clothes.
-
Simone Rocha
Cyndia Harvey also worked her hair magic at Simone Rocha with crystal barrettes and crowns. She used L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Fix Max Gel for a high-gloss finish.
-
Fendi
Guido Palau swept hair back into sleek chignons at Fendi. He even weaved in calla lilies made out of Murano glass designed by Delfina Delettrez.
-
Blumarine
The early aughts were back at Blumarine. Hairstylist Anthony Turner turned up the nostalgia factor by applying glitter to locks and tying on headscarves.
-
Versace
Guido Palau was also responsible for the hairstyles at Versace. He decided to emphasize the pin-straight strands so he gave some of the models extra long extensions.
-
Missoni
Wet hair popped up again at Missoni making it one of the most popular hairstyles of the Spring 2022 season. This curly shag looked particularly chic.
-
Francesca Liberatore
The Francesca Liberatore show really brought the drama in the makeup and hair departments. Thanks to clouds of white pigment on models’ eyes and brows along with this edgy top knot by hairstylist Beppe D'Elia.
-
Balenciaga
Hairstylist Holli Smith soaked strands for Balenciaga. The wet look paired perfectly with the thick black winged eyeliner.
-
Loewe
Guido Palau teamed up with Davide, master colorist at Blanche Milano, to create choppy, bowl cut wigs in vibrant shades of pink, blue, purple, emerald and crimson. The faux locks were tousled with balm for an undone finish.
-
Koché
Another show, another spiky hairdo. This fluffy take added to the overall playful vibe of the collection.
-
Hermes
The brand’s Spring 2022 collection was inspired by precision and curves. So it makes sense that many models rocked defined waves and sharp middle parts.
