It may be almost spring, but we’re in a fall state of mind. Why? Because we’re ready to incorporate many of the New York Fashion Week Fall 2022 beauty looks into our repertoires right now. Luckily, plenty of the makeup looks, hairstyles and manicures are easy to pull off and will look great any time of the year.
When it comes to makeup, bright pink, orange, red and blue eyeshadows were all on display at Bronx and Banco, Hardware LDN and Kim Shui. There were also lots of fresh, natural-looking complexions (see Proenza Schouler). Not to mention more than a fair share of smudged eye makeup courtesy of Christian Cowan and Jason Wu. And even dark, vampy lips like at Elena Velez.
As for hair, there was truly something to suit every type and texture. We spotted blunt bobs at Proenza Schouler, flirty rope braids at Hardware LDN, rhinestone-embellished parts at Christian Siriano and middle parts at PatBo, to name just a few.
Last but not least, we have to talk about the epic manis. On one end of the spectrum were the chic and sophisticated nude and brown nails at Ulla Johnson and Brandon Maxwell respectively. On the other end, over-the-top long nails in glitzy gold stole the show at Victor Glemaud. While Christian Cowan presented out-to-there nails adorned with gold embellishments.
