Our forums have been rife with speculation as to who might surface on the next cover of U.S. Vogue. Gisele Bündchen and Katy Perry were mentioned but nothing could have prepared us for the fantastic cover Vogue unveiled earlier today. Making her debut on the American fashion bible’s April 2017 issue is Selena Gomez. The songstress, who has a staggering 113 million Instagram followers (and counting), received the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott treatment for the sultry beach shot.

Forum members couldn’t believe their eyes. “WOW, this is great. Love the colors and she looks good. For once she doesn’t look like a kid who’s playing dress-up. Her best work for a magazine so far,” applauded fluxxx the second the cover came to light.
“Wow this is amazing! Best I’ve ever seen Selena, she finally looks properly sexy and mature. And I’m loving the ‘Linda by Steven Meisel in Cuba’ vibe of the ed, she pulls it off so well,” raved Marc10.
“I’m really surprised, this is a really good cover in my opinion. I would say the best in 2017 so far,” a startled Scotty declared.
Sharing the same view was GivenchyHomme: “Who would have thought one of the most cutesy and commercial celebs could produce such an edgy cover. It’s not only edgy for her but for Vogue as well. What a pleasant surprise!”
Honeycombchild felt the same way, saying, “You know what, that is a surprisingly good cover! I like how summery it is. Feels a little like it should have belonged in July or August, but even so, I’m here for it!”
“Well this is cool and unexpected,” noted an elated Srdjan.
“Love the cover…her face, the MK dress and the beautiful lively colors,” favored Zposen.
