The majority of this year’s September covers have failed to live up to expectations, but leave it to WSJ Magazine to deliver the goods (once again). The title has produced some spectacular covers this year featuring the likes of Gisele Bündchen and Oprah. Now celebrating 10 years of publication, WSJ goes all out for its monumental September 2018 issue, dropping a total of five covers starring models Anna Ewers, Andreea Diaconu, Imaan Hammam, Carolyn Murphy, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Tao Okamato, Rianne van Rompaey, Freja Beha Erichsen and Adwoa Aboah. The 10 cover girls were photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, complete with styling from forum favorite George Cortina.
The covers were an instant hit with our forum members. “This is all kinds of amazing!” exclaimed mikel the second the covers came to light.
“For me, those are the best September covers!” added john2elmejor.
“Yes! Finally glamour,” applauded GivenchyHomme.

Also quick to show WSJ some love was tigerrouge: “Those covers look like the modern version of Revlon’s ‘Most Unforgettable Women in the World‘ ads.”
“Absolutely agree that these are giving off an Avedon for Revlon’s Unforgettable Women campaign vibe and feels. Love it,” echoed samoanceleb.
LastNight commented, “This is giving me everything I needed for September. WSJ is not a magazine I’ve ever taken much notice of before, but they’ve been producing some stunning work that has really been catching my eye. Inez & Vinoodh take the most stunning portraits, I’m one of those who think they can do no wrong!”
“Now THIS is how to do September! WSJ Magazine putting the mainstream fashion titles to shame with their covers, showing the likes of American Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar how it should be done. Inez & Vinoodh and George Cortina are a total dream team,” raved vogue28.
