It goes without saying that Bella Hadid is newsstand gold. Just take a look at Bella’s covers for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Allure, InStyle, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Spain, Vogue Brazil — the list is endless. The current face of Moschino continues to add to her impressive body of work by landing her first Vogue cover appearance of 2020. Following in the footsteps of her sister Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber, Bella fronts Vogue Hong Kong’s February edition starring on a pair of covers shot by Zoey Grossman. On the first cover Bella takes a dip in the tub (below) and can be found roaming a decadent hotel lobby for the second cover (after the jump).
The covers quickly sparked debate among our forum members. “Why is there always something wrong with their covers? The hot pink masthead, in this case! Otherwise, the first cover is a winner. Certainly a triumph considering it was shot by Grossman,” critiqued Benn98.
“That first cover is gorgeous, it’s all you need!” declared Miss Dalloway.
“The first cover is actually very nice! The second cover is meh,” echoed bluestar.

In complete agreement was jorgepalomo: “I love it. First cover is the best.”
“The first cover would’ve been a whole lot more compelling if someone hadn’t opted to rotate the image. The second cover is amateur and the hot pink Vogue masthead feels like an afterthought. Bella Hadid…and it’s a total nonevent,” disapproved vogue28.
But SLFC wasn’t totally disappointed. “I’m gonna derail the train a bit. I actually like this. Sure, Bella is not very expressive as usual, but she is more expressive in the second cover, just very slightly, to the point it may actually work. I like both covers.”
