Kat Yeung is on a mission to thrust Vogue Hong Kong into the spotlight — and it’s working. We were gifted a model extravaganza at the start of the year, encountered an assortment of Kate Moss covers for the magazine’s anniversary issue and were treated to Gisele Bündchen just last month. Now Yeung taps Kendall Jenner for the title’s May 2021 issue putting out three covers to mark the occasion. Photographed by Zoey Grossman and styled by Patti Wilson, the current face of Givenchy and Versace wears looks from Chanel’s Spring 2021 collection for each of the three cover images.
In the eyes of our forum members, all three covers missed the mark. “Can’t believe she still gets modeling jobs,” said Scotty.
“Kendall and her same facial expressions,” added Paul Lintag.
“That girl could be modeling for 20 years and she will STILL be a basic girl trying to make it happen. She has no modeling skills in comparison to the great supermodels…” echoed Bertrando3.

“I hate the lighting on her face and Kendull’s expressionless and lifeless face in all of the shots,” declared mikel.
“I’m sorry but what is the idea/direction behind this? Why is she inside of a giant shell with that black Chanel jumpsuit on?” asked slayage.
Nevin139 clearly isn’t a fan: “What a disaster!”
“This is so bad…” voiced 0st3nd.
Meanwhile oaklee91 simply described the covers as “mediocre.”
