Obviously we’re all awaiting the unveiling of the all-important September issues. Everyone from Adele to Rihanna to Jennifer Lopez have been thrown around regarding American Vogue. But it’s American models making their mark on the American fashion bible’s September 2021 issue. In the absolutely joyous image, Kaia Gerber, Anok Yai, Precious Lee, Bella Hadid, Sherry Shi, Ariel Nicholson, Yumi Nu along with Lourdes Leon wear looks from American designers while posing for Ethan James Green.
Nevertheless Vogue‘s offering clearly dissatisfied our forum members. “This is hilariously awful. Easily the worst American Vogue cover I’ve ever seen,” declared KINGofVERSAILLES.
“My sentiment exactly!” echoed an undoubtedly annoyed vogue28. “What an absolute eyesore…”
“I…have absolutely no words. This truly is one of the ugliest American Vogue covers ever. So incredibly awful that I can’t believe it’s real!” said a definitely dismayed aracic.

“Absolutely dreadful cover. Disappointing times for Vogue,” added an obviously less than thrilled BlueRuin.
Benn98 certainly wasn’t feeling the outcome, too. “This is NOT what I expected AT ALL! I was thinking a Steven Meisel-type portrait showcasing the beauty of all these girls.”
“This looks like something Tyra Banks would come up with for America’s Next Top Model,” thenewclassic pointed out.
“Wow, this cover has really taken me by surprise. Being by Ethan James Green, I was expecting a second rate take on Meisel’s May 2007 cover, which would have been impressive in times as dire as these,” voiced WinstonH20.
