Steven Meisel Captures Liya Kebede and Rebecca Leigh Longendyke for Louis Vuitton’s Dauphine Handbag Campaign

has finally put down the camera. So now we’re excited to see which photographers will capture Louis Vuitton’s campaigns from here on out. For example, David Sims recently snapped the French fashion house’s mainline Fall 2021 outing. Now Steven Meisel steps back behind the lens. We’ve already seen four absolutely fabulous campaigns from the legendary lensman. The brand’s newest installment features Liya Kebede along with Rebecca Leigh Longendyke showcasing the iconic Dauphine bag in the chic images.

The campaign’s certainly a hit for most of our forum members. “Simple yet effective,” describes Urban Stylin.

“It’s good, simple and it does the job. The simplicity works for the context…” approves an undoubtedly pleased Lola701.

“Steven and Liya reunited at last! This is fabulous,” raves aracic.

“The photograph of Liya Kebede alone is just so beautiful in its simplicity that this feels like a total breath of fresh air! Meisel’s photography, the simple studio setting and the minimal styling do wonders…” vogue28 points out.

Clearly not everyone is thrilled, however. “I guess it does the job, but it’s boring,” states WAVES.

“It’s as midrange department store generic and politely pretty as it can be…” explains an obviously disappointed Phuel.

“Looks like Giampaolo Sgura shot this…” declares thiago:).
