Farrah Storr may just be the best thing to ever happen to British ELLE. See covers starring Gemma Chan, Altyn Isabella Simpson, Alva Claire, Daphne Groeneveld and Ramla Ali as proof. Unfortunately, Storr announced her departure from the Hearst-owned glossy. But she isn’t showing any signs of slacking off by bestowing upon us a killer cover for October/November 2021. Michaela Coel graces ELLE‘s double edition transforming into Grace Jones before the lens of Danny Kasirye. The Emmy Award winner sports vibrant eye makeup, Jones’ signature flat-top hairstyle and a structured Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2021 number.
The cover received the seal of approval from our forum members. “Now THIS is a COVER!” raved Lucien112.

“It’s perfection. Everything from the styling to the art direction. A Grace Jones reference done right. In fact I’d say Michaela’s facial features give the shot another dimension,” declared Benn98.
“Wow! Everything from subject to cover font works perfectly!” said GERGIN.
SLFC couldn’t agree more: “Wow, this is absolutely killer, everything just fits and works together.”
