Tim Blanks has just launched a web series for Style.com, “Throwback Thursdays,” which revisits key moments from the fashion critic’s personal archives. In the debut episode below, Blanks describes the circumstances that led him to seek out the then-unknown Channing Tatum. At the time (it was 2002), Tatum was 21 years old and walking his first runway show in Milan.
Blanks was very taken with him.
