Last week, I attended a pre-opening party for our local Nordstrom Rack that is now open. I was very excited for two reasons. 1. This was my FIRST time ever visiting a Nordstrom Rack and 2. I was able to shop with other fashionistas, trendsetters and ladies who frankly knew exactly what they were looking for.
I came into this experience with little expectation and not really a clear idea of what I was looking for but I knew I was on a mission and I was determined to find the latest trends and create some outfits that would work for me.
The line outside was not that bad, we were given tote bags and a flyer that told us how to amplify our posts on our social media networks. I thought that was very helpful and fun! As soon as I walked through the stores, I felt like I was in heaven. I was greeted with a bottle of champagne and a happy smile. Let’s do this!
Right off the bat, I knew exactly what my main focus would be.
ACCESSORIES!
That was a no-brainer! One thing I noticed…there were lots of GOLD spikes in front of me and I was not going to complain!
I loved the way the store was laid out. It was very easy to find what I was looking for and the store staff was very quick to help me with any questions I had. I also loved the look of the store…it was WHITE AND BLACK. Let me just tell you, that’s totally a trend. Believe it or not. You’ll see more of that in a minute, but let me give you a quick peek at the inside of the store and how it was laid out.
It was crisp and clean. That’s exactly how I would describe it. As far as the latest fashions, well, let these pictures do the talking before I explain just exactly what I think.
Do you see what I see? Black & White, Studs & Gold. Lots of gold accessories especially spikes and studs. I love this latest trend and I even love all the fun patterns that go along with them! Plus, that kitten sweater? Seriously? It’s adorable.
When it was time to check out, I used the ease of mobile checkout! It was SO SIMPLE and made things very painless. You find someone with a green shirt on and ask them to help you! They will take you to their station or bring a cart to you to help you check out. It really was very easy.
I am officially in love with Nordstrom Rack. They are my new bff who offers high quality designer brands at a smart value…. and that’s smart!
