“Heidi and Sarah-Jane’s departure from Sass & Bide has been in planning for some time as they have been transitioning out of the business.” Myer told Vogue. “Myer wishes Heidi and Sarah-Jane well, they go with our great good wishes, and we expect they will be associated with Sass & Bide for a long time.”
Middleton and Clarke also told Vogue that it was a joint decision to move on from the brand “while it was flourishing.” And flourishing it is, with celebrities like Eva Longoria, Drew Barrymore and Ashley Greene recently spotted wearing Sass & Bide designs on the red carpet.
We can’t help but wonder what the loss of Middleton and Clarke will mean for the brand moving forward. Middleton and Clarke were always walking advertisements for their much-loved brand, but somehow we can’t see the newly appointed Cuthbertson rocking their signature embellishments.
