Obvious statement alert: Canadian winters are brutal, which means proper outerwear is paramount to surviving them. As a result, Toronto-based menswear retailer Uncle Otis has partnered once again with outerwear company par excellence Canada Goose on an exclusive coat that laughs in the face of the Canadian cold front.
The Otis Parka is a bespoke quilted charcoal jacket that boasts a luxurious Loro Piana Storm System wool exterior, a removable coyote fur trimmed hood and a tonal Canada Goose Arctic Disc on the right shoulder. Other key design elements include quilting detail, custom-designed wood buttons, three-way front pockets, matte black zippers and an exclusive Uncle Otis label. As of September 30, 150 units of the Otis Parka will be available for $1,150 at Uncle Otis and online at UncleOtis.com.
Hear that? It’s the sound of winter shaking in its boots.
