The Frédéric Tcheng-directed film follows Raf Simons as he designs his first couture collection for the iconic French fashion house, a task which he had just eight weeks to fulfill. In the film, we get to see all the frenzied rushing, sewing and snipping in the weeks leading up to the big debut. From getting stuck in an elevator with samples to fitting the models, we get a look at the journey behind Simons’ first, quite beautiful collection. IMDB says that Marion Cotillard, Anna Wintour, Jennifer Lawrence and Sidney Toleadno expected to appear in the film, as does Cathy Horyn, who you will spot within the first 25 seconds of the trailer.
