Megan Gale knows how important it is to stay in shape because of her time working in the modelling industry. But, for her role in George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, the 39-year-old really had to up the workout ante for the scene which sees her sliding down a rope, nude.
“I knew there would be a scene where I’d be nude, and all these women are pretty tough and athletic, so you kind of want to look capable and in shape and agile,” Megan tells theFashionSpot.
“So training-wise I ran a lot, I did a lot of weights and Pilates, and a bit of yoga to have flexibility because I knew I had a lot of stunts to do as well,” she continued.
Speaking about a scene where she rolls back and forth out of the way of oncoming traffic, Megan tells us that padding on her knees wasn’t enough to avoid all injuries.
“From the middle of my legs were covered in scratches and bruises because the terrain was pretty rough,” she explains. “But it was still cool. I was like ‘Yeah, I’ve got war wounds, battle scars!”
