Of course this was a great chance for our local talent to showcase some seriously fashionable looks, and we’ve rounded up some of our favourites from the red carpet below.

Jessie J rocked a wrap dress from Topshop paired with fishnet-esque boots by Jimmy Choo, a similar kind to those seen in Demi Lovato’s “Cool For The Summer” film clip. While we love these pieces individually, and give Jessie props for thinking outside the (shoe) box, this pairing is a little misleading. Is The Voice Australia judge heading out to da club or the hotel spa? Either way, count us in!

Sussan Mourad is not afraid to take a fashion risk, made evident with this daring double-flared ensemble. Looking like she’d fit right in at Splendour in the Grass, the more we think about it, the more this boho look is growing on us. The flared sleeves and pants manage to balance one another out, and the pairing is really what makes this look stand out.
Erin Holland sizzled in a Watson x Watson LBD paired with a Serenade leather clutch. We love the simplicity of the dress and the detailed sheer sleeves added a dose of drama to this otherwise-classic cut. As per usual, her hair, make up and posing game were strong.
Carissa Walford caught our attention in this striking Josh Goot long-sleeve mini dress. The print was a vibrant splash of colour to an otherwise monochrome look, and, paired with a red lip, we think she came out a winner. Choosing to accessorise with chic ankle boots and pulled-black hair, the dress took the spotlight while still exuding a sophisticated winter elegance.
