“Right now these cancers are nicknamed the silent killers,” GCF’s website reads, imploring women to be more diligent in getting their checkups so that they might not fall victim to such diseases. “Recent research done by a leading female cancer charity revealed that nearly a third of women aged 16 to 35 are too embarrassed to go to the doctor with gynaecological concerns – let alone talk to a friend. Apparently 65% of 1000 women feel uncomfortable using the word ‘vagina’. Say WHAT?! We think it’s time to change that. Our mission is to empower women everywhere to talk more openly – without shyness or shame.”
And celebrities are getting on board. Black Score’s Simeon Farrar designed the sweatshirt which has graced the Instagram accounts of Cara and Poppy Delevingne, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Ellie Goulding and more. Naturally, the sweatshirt is almost sold out, but Topshop has a few sizes left over. Hurry over to the website to snag yours and do some good at the same time.
