Insta-babe Mimi Elashiry has been tapped as Maxim Australia‘s October 2015 cover girl, marking yet another “influencer” to score the coveted gig.
The shoot follows the announcement of Mimi’s new swimwear line, Cheeky Swim, which hits Glue Stores exclusively in early October. Fantastic timing, right?
“Awww shucks….. Thanks team… @maxim_aus for all your support with my New Label @cheekyswim_,” Mimi wrote to her Instagram alongside the cover shot.
The eight-page editorial was shot at Byron Bay’s Belongil Beach by photographer Simon Upton, where Mimi can be seen wearing her swimwear collection throughout.
This marks Mimi’s first cover for an international masthead. “I’m super excited to be featured on the cover of Maxim,” Mimi told Sydney Confidential. “I love that the feature is in support of Cheeky Swim. Hang on, let me pinch myself. Yep, it’s real.”
With the 20-year-old’s Instagram boasting over 776,000 followers, we’re sure this cover choice will be just as beneficial for the publication as it is for her.
