When Maitland girl Jorja Hope found out she was going to lose her hearing completely, she was devastated that she wouldn’t be able to hear Taylor Swift sing anymore.
After her twin sister, Chloe, kicked off the now-viral campaign #HelpJorjaMeetTaylorSwiftSydney to help Jorja meet the pop star during her Sydney concert later this month, radio station Nova, which is hosting Taylor’s intimate Hamilton Island gig, picked up the story and lent their helping hands to help make Jorja’s dreams become a reality.
Travelling to the studio for what she thought would be a studio tour, Jorja was lost for words when radio hosts “Fitzy and Wippa” told her they were granting her wish of one day meeting Taylor Swift.
