If you thought online haters were bad, wait ’til you hear about the “organisation” which are actually, no word of a lie, handing out fat-shaming cards to people on the London Tube.
One woman named Kara Florish posted the card she received on the underground to Twitter, with the hurtful message reading things like, “You are a fat, ugly human” and “We do not understand why you fail to grasp that by eating less you will be better off, slimmer, happy and find a partner who is not a perverted chubby lover, or even find a partner at all.”

The Guardian reports that a number of people have seen passengers receiving the cards from the “organisation” which likes to call itself “Overweight Haters Ltd”. One person witnessed a young man getting on a train at Oxford Circus, handing a card to a woman and telling her “You’re fat”, before jumping off the train and leaving the woman in tears.
Another report said that a passenger saw an “ordinary-looking middle-aged man” handing out one of the cards by the organisation which “hates and resents fat people”.
Steve Burton, director of enforcement and on-street operations, told The Guardian, “All of our customers have the right to travel with confidence, and this sad and unpleasant form of antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.”
We are aware of the leaflets being distributed in London and urge anyone who has been handed one to call us on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016.
