Jeremy Scott is putting his knack for 90s nostalgia and popular culture to good use with his latest collection for Moschino, teaming up with Nintendo for a fun-filled range including everything and everyone from Princess Peach to the invincible star.
The “Super Moschino” collaboration was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mario, one half of the Super Mario Bros duo, and sees Victoria’s Secret’s latest Aussie recruit, Bridget Malcolm, front the campaign.
Shot by Marcus Mam, the shoot has industrial vibes with Bridget leaning on bright ladders and handling spanners and drills while repping loose, bright T-shirts sweaters and hoodies. The real stand outs of the range, though, are the accessories, with bucket bags, purses, backpacks and pointed-toe heels boasting the video game’s covetable coins and mushrooms as well as other nice and not-so-nice characters within the magical worlds.
It’s a cute little addition to Jeremy’s other throwback ranges for Moschino, with inspiration stemming for the likes of Barbie, Looney Tunes, SpongeBob SquarePants and more. The line will be available from Dec 5 on Moschino’s website, making it the perfect gift over Christmas time.
